Hamza’s Top Theatre Moments of 2022

Another year has now neared its end, and my goodness wasn’t 2022 a fantastic insight into the potential of theatre when it’s not a homogenous industry by design? I’ve had the pleasure of being in attendance of a few press nights this year (all #PR #Gifted, in exchange for my honest review), and I’ve whittled down my favourites this year in the list below.

Additionally, it is remarkable to see theatre thrive (the latest news of free / pay-what-you-can to help those facing a squeeze and for whom art shouldn’t be cruelly taken away) when we have a variety of theatre makers, actors on/off stage teams reflecting our beautiful world. I just have to say it’s the great news we’d like to see more of into the new year…

There was something about each of these that really made them stand-out shows for me, and I implore you all to support the creatives that made magic happen on stage. I know I will be keeping a beady eye out!
